(Photo supplied by Assawin Pinitwong)TAK: Police commissioner Chakthip Chaijinda has transferred six officials, including the acting commander, of the Mae Sot police station after two Chinese suspects on China’s arrest warrants escaped from detention. Pol Col Narong Thattapong, deputy commander of the Phitsanulok police station was transferred as acting commander of the Mae Sot police station. The Mae Sot provincial court fined them 3,000 baht each on Friday. The 12 men were detained at Mae Sot police station pending transfer to Tak immigration police.
